Emergency Services

The City of Solomon emergency services is prepared 24/7 to preserve life and minimize damage, respond to hazards or disaster events by providing the necessary assistance and emergency support functions as well as establish a recovery system that will return the community to its normal state of affairs.

There are 4 tornado sirens in city limits: 1) City Shop; 2) West 4th Street just east of creek; 3) Community Garden; 4) DS&O with generator backup power.  These are outdoor warning sirens which are NOT intended to be heard inside a building or home. Rain, wind and hail may affect your ability to hear the sirens.  The warning sirens mean that something life-threatening is happening and you should go indoors to receive information updates from local media.
