Payment Options
The City of Solomon offers a variety of convenient payment options for our residents. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.
Automatic Bank Draft
The worry-free way to pay your bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account and credited to your utility account on the 15th of every month. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. To set up Automatic Bank Draft, simply fill out the form and drop it off at City Hall. You will still receive a monthly billing statement showing the amount credited.
Payment By Debit/Credit Card
Additionally we offer the option to pay your bill online through our provider, KanPay. You may pay your bill 24/7. You may use a Debit Card or Credit Card. We accept Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express. Just click the green "Pay Your Bill Now" button located to the right or at the bottom of this page to get started. Have your account number handy and follow the prompts.
Portal processing fees: To use this service it will cost an additional 2.5% processing fee for debit or credit card payments.
Payment By Check
For your convenience we offer an online payment system to pay for City of Solomon Utility Bills, Court Fines, Permits, etc. Please have a copy of your billing statement available when making payments.
Portal Processing Fees: To use this service it will cost an addtional $1.50 processing fee for a check.
Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five to seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.
Payment Drop-Off Location
You may pay your bill in person at our office located at 116 W Main, Solomon. We accept cash, check, or money orders. For your conveninece, there are two drop boxes. One is located to the right of the front door at City Hall. The other is a drive-up payment box located between City Hall and the Post Office.
