Now Hiring Lifeguards for the 2026 Pool Season

The City of Solomon is currently accepting applications for lifeguard positions for the upcoming 2026 summer pool season. This seasonal opportunity is perfect for individuals who are responsible, enjoy working outdoors, and want to contribute to a safe, fun community environment.

Position Summary

Lifeguards are responsible for monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a clean and orderly facility. Applicants should be strong swimmers and prepared to complete all necessary certifications prior to the start of the season.

Admission Rates

Daily Rates:

Ages 2 & Under: Free
Ages 3-59: $3.00
Seniors (60+): $2.00

Season Passes:

Individual: $55.00
Family (Up to 4 members): $125.00
Additional Family Members: $15.00 per member
Add Family Babysitter: $25.00

2025 Private Pool Party Rates

Private pool parties are available for special events and celebrations.

$100.00 for 25 or fewer guests
$150.00 for 26-50 guests
For more than 50 guests, please call the pool for pricing.

Note: Parties are for a duration of 2 hours.

2025 Swim Lessons

Group swim lessons are offered through the Solomon pool.
Each session consists of eight lessons over a two-week period.
- Session One
  - June 9 - June 12 & June 16 - June 19
- Session Two
  - June 30 - July 3 & July 7 - July 10

Weather Policy

The pool will be cleared immediately at the first sign of lightning.

At that point, a 30 minute wait will begin. For each sound of thunder or sign of lightning, there will be a 30 minute wait.

After the 30 minute wait, if there is no further lightning or thunder, the pool will open; otherwise the pool will close for the duration of the storm, opening at a later time if wather improves.

Solomon Municipal Pool will open if the air temperature is 70 F or warmer and the sky is clear. Additional factors such as water temperatures and the forecast for the day will also be taken into consideration.

Pool Closings

The Solomon Pool will post all scheduled closings out front of the pool so that patrons will have an advanced notice of the pool being closed for any reason not related to weather!
