Housing

Solomon's housing situation is moving in the right direction.  There have been 10 new homes constructed within the past 5 years.

Solomon Housing Authority's (Heritage Manor) mission is to provide drug free, decent, safe, and sanitary housing for eligible elderly and disabled families.  There are 20 units.  Rent is based on income.  Application is required.

North Pine Village Apartments offers 16 low income one and two bedroom units.  This is a Low Income Housing Tax Credit community and will have rent and income restrictions based on the Area Median Income. Given the demand for low income housing, there may be a waiting list.  

Rental housing is also available.
