Streets

The Street Department is responsible for regular maintenance of streets and alleys within the City of Solomon

• Paved Streets: Crews periodically patch potholes, seal cracks, chip seal and major removal/replacement
• Alleys:  Alleys are graded and sand/gravel applied as necessary.
• Unpaved Streets:  Crews periodically grade or gravel unpaved streets
• Street Traffic Signs: Maintenance, installation and repair of traffic and street signs. 
• Miscellaneous:  The Street Department is also responbile for ditch maintenance, spraying for mosquitoes, providing barricades when needed, snow removal, storm clean-up and street sweeping.
