Solomon Municipal Pool Opens Saturday, May 23 for Summer Season

Summer fun is officially returning to Solomon! The City of Solomon is excited to announce that the Solomon Municipal Pool will open for the 2026 season on Saturday, May 23.
Located at 100 E. 6th Street, the Solomon Municipal Pool offers a full summer of swimming, family activities, swim lessons, and opportunities for residents and visitors of all ages to stay active and cool during the summer months.
The 2026 pool season is scheduled to run through Sunday, August 9, with the possibility of extending weekend hours through Labor Day if staffing and weather conditions permit.
A full pool schedule and calendar of activities will be released soon. Parents are encouraged to check students’ book bags later this month for a school newsletter insert containing pool information, schedules, and seasonal updates.

Admission & Season Passes
Daily admission rates include:
- Ages 2 and under: Free with paying adult
- Ages 3–59: $3
- Seniors (60+): $2
Season passes are available:
- Individual Pass: $55
- Family Pass (up to 4 members): $125
- Additional Family Members: $15 each
- Babysitter Add-On: $25
Swim Lessons & Programs
Group swim lessons will once again be offered this summer for children looking to build water confidence and safety skills.
- Session 1: June 22 – July 2
- Session 2: July 6 – July 16
Each session runs Monday through Thursday for two weeks and costs $40 per participant. Swim lessons will take place during morning hours, with exact lesson times to be announced soon.
Private swim lessons are also available for $90 for five sessions and may be scheduled directly through the pool.
Family Fun Nights
Wednesday evenings throughout the season will feature Family Fun Nights from 5:30–7 p.m., offering themed activities designed to encourage community participation and create a fun, family-friendly atmosphere at the pool.
Private Pool Parties
The Solomon Municipal Pool is also available for private rentals and parties with a two-hour minimum reservation.
Rental pricing includes:
- 25 guests or fewer: $125
- 26–50 guests: $175
- Larger groups: Contact the pool for pricing
Guest counts include all attendees inside the fenced pool area.
Pool Leadership & Staff
The City of Solomon is proud to welcome back a dedicated summer pool staff led by Pool Manager Stacey Zerbe, along with head lifeguards Emersyn Shirack and Lacie McLaughlin.
Additional lifeguards and substitute staff will help support daily operations and ensure a safe, enjoyable summer for all pool guests.
